Photo Friday- Awaiting a Blessing

When my dear friend Katie asked if I would take some maternity photos for her I was so excited!  She is such a wonderful woman and is going to make an amazing mother.  I felt so honored that she wanted me to capture this moment in time for her.  I was so glad that I was able to make the trip to Kansas City (I guess that means this was my first traveling shoot!?) and that the weather was so perfect.  We took these pictures in her backyard and it was so pretty!  It was the perfect place to take these photos that she will look back on when she is cuddling that little one of hers soon.  There really is nothing more beautiful than an expectant mother waiting for her new arrival.  Hopefully the weather will cooperate and I'll get to make the trip down to practice some newborn photography once he arrives.  I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them.  Thanks for stopping!
